Basic Gujarati saree draping Steps

  • Like the popular state Gujarat of India has its traditional draping style of sarees, in Gujarati draping style pallu is draped in the front side. Because the pallu drape is on the front side it’s also popularly known as a Siddha pallu drape. Which is also famous in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
  • In this Gujarati style draping the pleats are tucked to the left side so it opens on the left side & after it the pallu is taken to back and over the right shoulder pin it up then it spread across the bodice and left corner of pallu tucked in the petticoat at the back.
