The IIFA awards 2017 were held in New York for the first time, and as usual, it never fails its fans to charm with its Iifa weekend event held for 4 days fun-filled entertainment for celebrities as well as viewers. The B'town got down to New York on Thursday in time for the 1st day of IIFA 2017. This year we had performances with Katrina Kaif, Varun Dhawan, Salman Khan, Kriti Sanon, and many more sizzling the 4-day event. IIFA Stomp 2017 (pre-awards events and meetups) 13 July

IIFA 2017 event kicked off with a press conference followed by IIFA Stomp at Times Square. The event had some celebs right from the press conference which will be performing at the grand event, though the night was dazzled with celebrities walking the ramp for the Fashion show event. Dia Mirza, Taapsee Pannu, Shilpa Shetty, Neha Dhupia, Disha Patani, and Huma Qureshi Walked for Big fashion names. Varun Dhawan showcased his skills as a Dj and set up an electrifying performance with other DJ artists to entertain the whole show. Followed by a Fashion show where Dia Mirza & Taapsee Pannu walked for Myntra, Shilpa Shetty & Neha Dhupia were showstoppers for Falguni & Shane Peacock, and the stars Sonaakshi Raj and Huma Qureshi appeared in dazzling Jewels for Gitanjali. Just after this, a Gala dinner was organized as the Shuruaat of IIFA 2017 - 18th Awards

Fashion Show and event at Newyork Time Square

IIFA Rocks 2017 on 14 July

This event rocked the night away with awesome music talent taken on the stage at Iifa rocks event. We had stars like Kailash Kher, Mika Singh, A.R Rehman with friends, Mohit Chauhan, Niti Mohan, and many more along with actor Diljit Dosanjh and Aditi Rao Hydari. The show was hosted by Manish Paul and Riteish Deshmukh. Here are the looks of B-town at IIFA rocks 2017, Best dressed and worst dressed.

Katrina Kaif, With all that tassels on her blouse with Abu Jan and Sandeep Khosla saree just weren't head ups for her look for the New York 18 Edition of IIFA. Maybe it wasn't a good time to get all desi this time.

Richa Chadda, a desastoriouse ruffled lace gown, and the makeup also failed and made her look pale.

Huma Qureshi dressed the Dress gown, but it didn't suit her well, and the makeup needed more dominance than the dress.

Neha Dhupia, in the oversized gown just made no fashion statement when she played back a not so gorgeous looking hairstyle, hair strands on the face, just dint look too natural.

Taapsee Pannu looked like she just came out for her wedding or wedding reception, with all that traditional bridal makeup and gown was a big no.

Kriti Sanon dressed in the Doll dress was just perfect, with side-swept hair and sweet makeup look

Alia Bhatt in a Manish Malhotra Lehenga, elegant and beautiful in pastel was her perfect choice!

Shahid Kapoor, Celebrity has his own fashion statement, and we loved what he spotted on.

Varun Dhawan, dressed to be the gentlemen of the night was simple and charming

Dia Mirza was lovely in a gown for Iifa Rocks, and we loved her look of open hair to go with her dress.

Kalki Koechlin in a Sabyasachi Pastel saree was also very charming and put out a saree look just perfect.

Katrina Kaif got it right this time, maybe she was saving the best look for the main event. She nailed it well simple and glamorous.

Preity Zinta in theta peplum black gown just wowed the audience when she appeared with her husband at the event.

Sonakshi Sinha made her appearance in a body-hugging maroon lace gown and dominant sleeves.

Shahid Kapoor again, flawless and dapper for the main event.

Disha Patani in another Blingy dazzled dress, and this time she wears the right footwear and hair to look stunning in silver.

Worst Dressed at IIFA Awards 2017

Kalki Koechlin chose the wrong outfit for the Main event, it completely depressed the fashion fans.

Bipasha Basu, just not what she looks best in, the blingy gown and clean bun made no fashion pull-outs for her. We have seen her better.

Shilpa Shetty again, she chose a different silhouette and pattern just the way she likes it, but this outfit was just a complete mess on her, maybe the color or bling or the cuts or drapes went in no harmony with her.

Neha Dhupia, again makes it to the worst dressed at IIFA 2017, this is just not the right fashion looks we expect from her.

Taapsee Pannu, even she didn't have the right dress to make the crowd wooo...
