Pre draped and stitched options

Pre stitched sarees and attached dupatta styles solve most of the above and are grouped on this page. They look identical on camera and need no adjustment mid performance.

On video versus in person

Sequin, mirror and metallic details read strongly on video under stage lighting. Very dark matte fabrics can lose definition in a dim hall. Mid to bright tones with surface interest photograph and film best.

Practising in the outfit

Run through the choreography once in the outfit before the night, if the order arrives in time. That is when you find out a sleeve restricts a lift or a skirt is heavier than it looked. If there is no time for a trial, choose from the pre stitched and attached dupatta styles, which hold the fewest surprises.
