Maharashtrian Saree

The Nine-yard saree is required for this Maharashtrian saree draping style instead of the normal saree of 7 yards (6.4 m) saree. The main thing in this drape is that there is no petticoat needed in this type of draping this traditional drape which is popular in Maharashtrian traditional bride. Being the mirror showing the culture of the roots, its silhouettes look like dhoti and are tucked behind the back.

Traditional Nivi style
The traditional and main common style which is followed all over the world is the nivi style saree draping this style. This is carried by the Indian women in their normal routine life too. In this style, a petticoat is necessary and the one pallu is tucked into the petticoat and draped around the waist and pleats formed as it’s tucked into the petticoat in the middle front, and the rest of the pallu is tucked on the shoulder neatly in pleats and pinned on the shoulder.

Tamilian style saree also has the same kind of saree-wearing style as a Maharashtrian style and Nine-yard fabric is also necessary for this kind of saree draping style.

Bengali style
Bengali woman carries the Bengali saree drape style in their special days of her life, white plain saree and red border is the main color which is popular in this Bengali wedding saree. In this style, the saree is wrapped around the waist and the pallu is brought on the left shoulder, and it is again carried over from the back on the right shoulder.

As the name suggests this style originally belongs to the state of Rajasthan which is a famous place over the world for its rich gypsy culture. The traditional tie-dye Bandhani pattern style is among the popular kinds in Rajasthan. South Indian style saree draping
Silk is the main and most preferred fabric for south Indian women. Silk saree with the border is the first and perfect mix of heritage and art of Indian culture.
